We were so sad after being rejected by the nature, nature didnot want us to enter the sacred Gurudongmar Lake, not even the lake, We could not proceed a single meter towards Thangu, it was still 5Km far to reach Thangu– from where we were supposed to have our breakfast,
Hope you already know our last day’s journey,it was visiting Yumthang Valley .But today was the last day in North sikkim – we were pretty excited for todays journey to Gurudongmar Lake, though the driver had warned us that trip to Gurudongmar would be completely dependent on him,
I never made my mind before that I would write some post for snowfall. But after getting so much of it in Yumthang Valley, I just decided lets make this a seperate post, I had never seen such snowfall before, being a part of busy lifestyle metro city,
It was the second day in North sikkim- we were enough lucky to have a visit to yumthang valley. After reaching to Lachung yesterday night, the night’s sleep was awesome as we were fatigued too much. I traveled this spot just before 6months ago,
We reached Lachung with the scenic views of beautiful waterfalls on way. After the hectic 6-7 hours journey we finally became able to reach Lachung. Theres nothing to do more after reaching Lachung specially if you arrive here late. We did arrive near about 6 pm, so already darkness engulfed the surrounding.
As we were heading towards Lachung we had encountered several waterfalls which I thought to showcase here in blog. However I found some beautiful waterfalls too last time when I visited North sikkim in June,2014, but those waterfalls were on my way to Lachen,
