Along with my colleague I decided to take a bike trip from Kolkata to Purulia for a day, the idea of it seemed quite thrilling. We started early in the morning and soon enough, we were out on the highway enjoying our ride. Despite being a short trip, we stopped at multiple places of interest along with way that made it such an enjoyable experience.
The first stop was at a Chai stall in a small town near Burdwan in the early morning where we had these delicious samosas and tea – something that was so different yet so fulfilling. Even after reaching there, Site-seeing around Purulia was also great! There were some incredible spots near some Jai chandi hills which felt like they could have been taken straight out of a postcard! The entire experience felt surreal.
We ended our day with visiting a lake in Purulia, which was quite remarkable for this post. As we witnessed the lake, we got down from our ride and faced the lake. I stood in awe, mesmerized by the tranquil blue hues of the lake before me. Its glassy surface exuded a serene atmosphere that filled my heart with romance. The refreshingly crisp breeze was so tranquilizing. I felt an urge to linger for longer.
The cool breeze was so soothing that I didn’t want the moment to end. It felt like a breath of fresh air on my skin and I could feel all of my worries slipping away. I was standing outside in a clearing, surrounded by lush green trees, their leaves rustling in the wind. The sun was just starting to set, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink. As the moments passed by, I could feel myself growing more relaxed with each passing second.
The gentle warmth of the sun’s rays combined with the coolness of the breeze made it almost impossible to think about leaving this place at all. All I wanted to do was stay there forever and soak up every little bit of nature around me – from birds flying overhead to flowers blossoming nearby.
